What was liked about your story: "I loved how the story wasn't your usual happy mate and werewolf story. It has pain and it carries a lot of injustices and that to me is amazing. It sheds a new light to what some times could be loving stories, can also be ones filled with so much unfairness. It honestly has me on the edge of my seat for crying out loud, I love it!"

Plot Cohesion

Does the plot make sense?

"The plot does make sense, however it makes you be alert to whatever happens next in order to add to it"

Were the chapters eventful and full of information?

"To say they were eventful is an understatement, they were outstanding. You never knew what would happen or who would come in next. It definitely had lots of information, which is always helpful when you're trying to add context."

Setting

Did you know where the scenes were taking place at all times?

"It's pretty clear and understandable as to where you are at all times. At first it takes a paragraph or two, but then you quickly realize we're in a knew place."

Vivid Description

Did you feel as if the scene was coming to life?

"Yes, I could see most scenes come to life as she explained them clearly. Really captures you as a reader painting a clear image. But then again, there are some scenes they could've maybe added to."

Were the five senses involved? If yes, how?

"The five sense were involved in a scene that was just overwhelming. The way she described the death of the war was very upsetting. The sight, smell, hearing, touch, lacked a little on taste, but it was just very vivid."

Characters

Did the characters feel important?

"Some characters did feel more important than others, but then again some characters are in some stories."

Could you distinguish the difference between the characters? If no, why not?

"I could distinguish the difference between characters just by their ranking and species, but not knowing much about how they visually look, was a little tricky."

Was there a clear antagonist and protagonist?

"Yes, it was pretty clear on who our antagonist was and our protagonist."

Dialogue

Was all of the dialogue necessary, or did it seem as if they were just trying to fill up the page?

"The dialogue that was presented all had its purpose which really helped me as a reader to understand what was happening."

Was the dialogue easy to follow? If no, why?

"The dialogue was easy to follow, well to me that is. I was very invested considering I didn't want to miss something important."

Did the dialogue give you any insight to anything in the story? (i.e: thoughts, personal feelings, foreshadowing)

"Definitely, the dialogue gave me insight to things that were happening which had me feeling some type of way. I felt like it was foreshadowing that is until it caught me off guard and did the opposite. They really built up to it."

Grammar & Organization

Were there a lot of errors/mistakes? If yes, please specify your answer.

"I'm no expert, but I felt like there wasn't much. But then again, they could've flown by me considering I just couldn't stop reading. If there was mistakes, then they were minor. However, the one thing that really had me stopping for a second was that some dialogue of the characters were in the same paragraphs confusing me as to who was speaking at the time. Besides that, nothing grand."

Were the chapters hard, or easy to read? If hard, please specify your answer.

"The chapters were easy, they held lots of information that they could've broken up, but overall, they were great."

Was there enough punctuation, and was it used correctly? If no, please specify your answer.

Your Partner's Personal Critique:

"Reading my partners story this week had proven to be amazing. However, she does tend to move a little fast which is very understandable. Definitely has to build a little more on each character just so we can know more of them. But overall, great!"

Recommendation:

"If you're interested in something new and different, this story is definitely for you. If you enjoy curve balls, then this story is also for you. If you're looking for a story that has you on the edge of your seat, then this story is for you. Truly an innovating author in the making!"

Your Partner's Personal Critique:

N/A

Recommendation:

"Yes. It's a good story. The plot is nice and it stands out. Having read a lot of werewolf stories, I can tell this one is different. You get to be inside the character's head and share their sentiments. The story is not all over the place. The narrative is linear even with the flashbacks. It doesn't bore you to read it. It keeps you on edge to know what's next. I am looking forward to more of it."
